Rapid treatment protocols

There has been a growing trend to provide implant treatment within a shorter time frame leading to immediate placement and immediate loading protocols. The clinical and radiographic assessment and planning is crucial to ensure proper case selection. 

Although complications appear to have a relatively low incidence, they are clinically important and problematic to clinician and patient and there is a need to identify and control risk factors.
